These photographs were taken within the catchment area of the River Dee in Aberdeenshire in north east Scotland. Often referred to as Deeside, the Dee catchment extends for over 60 miles from west to east. The landscape is varied but it is always interesting. The hills in the west of the area are some of the highest in Scotland.
